With a mature and large database, comprising contacts from across all their brands, this needed a carefully crafted approach. Identifying priorities, potential crossovers and considering geographical jurisdictions we worked together to craft rich briefs and delivered 400,000 validated contacts in a year.

Five stage framework for extensive data build

With an international build requirement, across multiple industries such as Fashion, Home & Gift, E-commerce, Retail, Logistics, and Cargo & transport this project required a diverse, multiple geography approach.

A five-stage framework was used to discover subject matter experts, then blend automation with human touchpoints, such as telephone research, for maximum reach and accuracy. 

Over 5 projects, spanning 8 months, over 55k records were delivered. This covered as many as 44 job titles, over 200 keywords, and up to 10 data fields provided for each contact.

With a directory of UK brands and their associated agencies, it was key for this client to provide validated contacts and to follow market changes. Merit was able to update the client’s database as well as find replacements for vacant positions.

Specialist briefs delivered with pinpoint accuracy

A leading data, insight ad intelligence provider across the UK healthcare landscape needed to identify key opinion leaders in specific therapeutic areas for targeted market research and product development. 

Identifying these individuals required a robust metric qualification methodology that, once formulated, could be replicated for future use. Over 12k entries were narrowed down to 100-200 specialists, with 50-100 key opinion leaders identified. This delivered the specificity the client needed, while providing a broader framework that can be adapted.
